Welcome to our Spanish class!

 Over the past few days we have been learning routines, directions, commands, greetings, and all about Spanish class. We are having fun learning together! I am very excited to be teaching Spanish at SPE!

 Young 5's
- We learned how to greet each other in Spanish
- We learned a new song in Spanish!

 Kindergarten
- We learned how to say hello, goodbye, good morning, good afternoon,  and goodnight in Spanish!
- Also, we learned a new Spanish greeting song!

Vocabulary:
Hola- hello/hi
Adiós- goodbye
Buenos días- Good morning/ good day
Buenas tardes- Good afternoon
Buenas noches- Goodnight 
Por favor- please
Gracias- thank you
De nada- you're welcome
Sí- yes
No- no

First/ Second grade
- We practiced saying our names and how we are feeling in Spanish!
- We learned a new song in Spanish
Third/Fourth/Fifth grade
 - We practiced having conversations in Spanish by introducing ourselves and our feelings.
- Additionally, we learned how to express our likes and dislikes. (me gusta/ no me gusta)

Basic Plus
- We watched some fun Spanish videos
- We learned how to say hello, goodbye and our names in Spanish!

  February and March 2022 Young Fives We have been learning about the days of the week in Spanish! We read the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar  in Spanish! We learned a lot of new songs! Kindergarten We learned about days of the week and months of the year in Spanish! We also read the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar  in Spanish! We also learned a lot of new songs! 1st grade We learned about telling time and the days of the week in Spanish! We also practiced expressing what the weather is like in Spanish!
