Hola!

We had a fun week! We learned about Mexico's Independence Day and Hispanic Heritage Month.

5th grade
- Most of my classes got to pick out Spanish names for class
- We reviewed our vocabulary
- We learned some new vocabulary (tall, short, good looking, smart, when is your birthday?, what is your telephone number, etc)

4th grade
- We learned how to express physical characteristics in Spanish such as tall, short, long and short hair.
- Practiced how to ask for permission, addresses and telephone numbers in Spanish
- Wrote our words in Spanish

3rd grade
- ABC's in Spanish- most classes practiced writing the alphabet and one word in Spanish that corresponds. Some classes practiced writing greetings, and asking for permission, etc.

2nd grade
- We practiced our vocabulary words by writing our feelings in Spanish and putting it on our vocabulary board.
- Some classes practiced writing all of the words that we have been reviewing everyday.

1st grade
- We practiced speaking and writing in Spanish by doing a sticky note activity and writing our vocabulary words.

Kindergarten
- We practiced writing our names in Spanish- did a sticky note activity.

Young 5's
- Practiced singing our Spanish songs
- Practiced writing good morning, good afternoon and good evening in Spanish on sticky notes.

Basic Plus
- We also practiced writing our names in Spanish
- We learned how to ask someone how they are doing in Spanish, and how to say I am doing well.

  February and March 2022 Young Fives We have been learning about the days of the week in Spanish! We read the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar  in Spanish! We learned a lot of new songs! Kindergarten We learned about days of the week and months of the year in Spanish! We also read the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar  in Spanish!
