Basic Plus

Young Fives
- In February, we learned about the shapes in Spanish and had fun!
- In March we started learning about the Days of the week in Spanish!
- Recently, we did a fun ice cream activity to practice the days in Spanish!
- We are also practicing the days of the week by reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar in Spanish!
Kindergarten
- In February, we also learned about shapes and sizes in Spanish! We had fun practicing them every day!
- In March, we started learning about the days of the week and months in Spanish!
- Recently, we did a fun activity in class! Ask your student all about it!
- We are also practicing the days of the week by reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar in Spanish!
First Grade
- In February, we learned all about telling time, describing the weather, and the days of the week in Spanish!
- In March, we started learning about how to describe ourselves, saying what we like/ don't like, family members and pets in Spanish!
- Recently, we practiced reading a mini book all in Spanish!
- This week we practiced writing about our favorite pet in Spanish!
Second Grade
-We finished up our unit about describing ourselves and classmates.
- At the end of February we started our Mercado unit!
- We are very busy in Spanish class creating our products to sell on Mercado day!!
Third Grade
- We had a lot of fun in February with Unit 2 which was all about school! We learned a fun song! We created our own birds eye view of a school and labeled everything in Spanish! Then, we wrote three sentences about our school!
- We are finishing up our family unit and are having fun describing family members!
Fourth Grade
- In February we finished our unit on clothing in Spanish! We learned how to describe the color of clothing along with when we wear certain clothes.
- In March we started learning about the Ideal Home. We are learning about different homes, rooms inside and furniture. We are practicing writing sentences with whiteboards!
Fifth Grade
- In February, we finished our unit about verbs, and sports. We learned how to conjugate a verb correctly, write sentences about what we like/ don't like to do in each season all in Spanish!
- In March, we started a unit all about places, people and transportation in a city. We are also practicing writing sentences with whiteboards in Spanish!
