December and January

 Hola!

We had a lot of fun in December, and are working hard in January!


Young Fives and Kindergarten

- We had fun learning colors, numbers, and animals in Spanish!

- We learned the words Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? in Spanish.

- We played a fun game while counting in Spanish!

- We are currently learning about shapes and sizes in Spanish!

- I sent home an updated vocabulary list this month.

First Grade

- We had fun describing the weather in Spanish!

- We practiced saying the days of the week in Spanish!

- We are currently practicing how to say what time is it in Spanish!

Second Grade

- We are having fun learning how to describe someone's personality in Spanish!

- Ask your student what Soy means in Spanish, and some other words they have been practicing. 

- We are also practicing counting by 10's in Spanish!


Third Grade

- We have been learning all about school in Spanish!

- Ask your student how to say different classes in Spanish

- We learned a new song in December with school supplies, ask your student about it!

- We are starting a new project in class!

Fourth Grade

- We have been learning about clothing in Spanish and what we wear in each season!

- Ask your student how to say the color of your clothing!


Fifth Grade

- We are learning about school subjects, leisure activities, and verbs

- Ask your student how to say I like _______. 

- We are working hard and having fun!


Basic Plus

- We are practicing the days of the week and learning about the months of the year in Spanish!

  February and March 2022 Young Fives We have been learning about the days of the week in Spanish! We read the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar  in Spanish! We learned a lot of new songs! Kindergarten We learned about days of the week and months of the year in Spanish! We also read the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar  in Spanish! We also learned a lot of new songs! 1st grade We learned about telling time and the days of the week in Spanish! We also practiced expressing what the weather is like in Spanish! We learned some new songs! 2nd grade We practiced time, days of the week, and weather in Spanish! We learned how to count by 5’s, and 10’s in Spanish! We watched some fun videos!
