Young Fives

  • We had fun learning how to say our names in Spanish with Me llamo____

  • We are learning how to count to 10 and the colors in Spanish 

  • We are practicing our greeting song, be sure to ask your student how to sing it!

Kindergarten

  • We had fun learning the vowels, saying our names and how to ask how someone is doing in Spanish!

  • We are learning to count to 20 and saying the date in Spanish!

  • We are learning about colors and animals in Spanish!

  • We have been reading the book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? in Spanish!

1st grade

  • We worked really hard with expressing how we are feeling, the alphabet, the date, commands (listen, come here, look, etc) in Spanish!

  • We have been expressing what is in our backpacks in Spanish! Be sure to ask your student how to say “In my backpack I have ____.” (We’ve been practicing every day!)

2nd grade

  • We are working very hard this year practicing our greetings, alphabet, feelings and dates in Spanish!

  • We also practiced asking and answering questions about the weather in Spanish!



3rd grade

  • We are exceptional leaders with the alphabet in Spanish!

  • We have been practicing asking questions about someone’s name, and how to spell it.

  • We can spell out each other’s names in Spanish!



4th grade

  • We worked really hard on expressing what hurts in Spanish!

  • We practiced saying the body parts in Spanish

  • We created monsters, labeled all of the body parts, and wrote sentences all in Spanish!

  • We are working really hard on being leaders in Spanish class!

  • We learned about Spanish Speaking countries, their capitals, and where they are located. 

  • We are working on a Google slides presentation on a Spanish speaking country of choice
