Young 5's
- We practiced writing the colors in Spanish
- We got to touch a sugar skull and talk about how it felt.
- We learned about Day of the Dead and why people in Mexico celebrate.

Kindergarten
- We had a few parent volunteers come in to help!
-We learned about Day of the Dead and where it is celebrated.

First Grade- Fifth Grade
- We learned about Day of the Dead in Mexico and why they celebrate it
- We got to make our own Day of the Dead masks!

Basic Plus
- We practiced writing our words in Spanish
- We also learned about Day of the Dead and did a coloring sheet!

  February and March 2022 Young Fives We have been learning about the days of the week in Spanish! We read the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar  in Spanish! We learned a lot of new songs! Kindergarten We learned about days of the week and months of the year in Spanish! We also read the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar  in Spanish! We also learned a lot of new songs! 1st grade We learned about telling time and the days of the week in Spanish! We also practiced expressing what the weather is like in Spanish!
