Bienvenidos! Welcome to our Spanish class! This letter’s purpose is to introduce to you my philosophy of education and to inform you what to expect from me as your student’s teacher. Communication is critically important in the education of your child. I believe communication is crucial in developing a partnership between the parent, the student and the teacher. I am very excited to be teaching Elementary Spanish at Springfield Plains Elementary this year! My name is Rachel Wiley and I am a graduate from Adrian College with a B.A. in Spanish and Elementary Education. This will be my thirteenth year of teaching, and I absolutely love teaching Spanish! I have had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in Spain at the University of Salamanca.
